The main deity at this shrine, Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy, is a “Swayambhu,” or uncreated. To the left of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy’s idol on the same sizable rock in the garbha gudi is Sri Vinayaka Swamy’s Swayambhu.

This is the first instance of its kind where devotees can worship Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy and Sri Ganesha on the same rock.

Surya, Chandra, Angaraka, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Kethu are among the other navagrahas that may be found on the temple grounds. When the tithi Trayodashi falls on Saturday, Shani Trayodashi is observed in the temple.

Many followers of Lord Shani pray to him on this auspicious day in order to be freed from all Shani-doshas.

As Sri Anjaneya Swamy came to be recognised as one of Lord Shiva’s personifications, the Shiva Panchayathanam, also known as the Shiva Lingam, which includes Goddess Parvathi, Vinayaka, Vishnu, and Surya, was sanctified on the temple grounds.

Every day, a large number of worshipers visit this Shiva Panchayatanam.

In the Shrine, there is also a figure known as Nagaraja, who is thought to represent Subramanya Swamy in the form of a serpent.

Within the grounds of the temple, beneath Raavi Chettu, there had once been a sizable anthill where snakes had once lived.

The majority of the devotees worship Nagendra, who is carved out of black granite stone and put in the same location on the temple grounds.
