So friends today I will take u to Sri Prasanna Thimmarayaswamy Temple near Baglur. The temple is quite well known in the locality. One of the famous Lord Vishnu Temples in the region.
About the temple
The temple is said to be an old temple, but renovated lately. The temple premises is huge and is beautifully maintained.
Painted in golden color the temple looks very good. As soos as you reach the temple premises you are welcome by a huge gopuram and when you entet you will se a big dhwaja stambh .
The main dielty of the temple is lord Balaji or lord Vishnu worshipped as Sri Prasanna Thimmarayaswamy. We could not find much hsitory of the temple, tried asking people around there but could not find much infoirmation.
But this is such a beautoful temple, that it is a must visit if you are staying around the region. Apast from lord bajali you will also find shrines of Lord Anjenaya, Lord Ganesha, Navagrah etc.
Just next to the the main temple is a small area looks like a garden which has hude idols of Lord Krishna , lord Vishnu , Lord Rama and Hanuman etc .. The whole environment around is so calm and you feel an eternal peace here.
