Vir Anjaneya temple – Chikkaballapur – Bangalore – Karnataka

Vir Anjaneya temple – Chikkaballapur – A newly built temple located at the entrance of Chikkballapur.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Anjaneya (Lord Hanuman) and temple architecture is similar to other temples of South India.

However it is a grand temple and a good visit.

Where is Vir Anjaneya temple Chikkaballapur located

This temple is located just off NH7 as soon as you turn towards Chikkabalapur, next to the engineering college.

The Lord Anjaneya idol is a old one, but the temple has been built new.

You can visit this temple with your visit to Rangasthala or Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple situated on Chikkabalapur to Gauribidanur road.

How to reach Vir Anjaneya temple Chikkaballapur

Chikkaballapur is not very far from Bangalore. The small town once looked far is now you can see is at the outskirts of Bangalore, just after Bangalore International Airport.

The road conditions are fantastic. You will already know about it. And the city is just after Devanhalli

Bangalore – > Yelahanka -> Devanhalli – > Chikkaballapur.
As soon as you take a left turn for Chikkaballapur, you will find this temple on the left hand side. This road has toll.

If you wish to avoid toll you can take below route.
Bangalore -> Yelahanka New Town -> Doddabalapur -> Devanhalli -> Chikkaballapur

However this route will be a bit longer.

There are many other places which you can visit in and around Chikkaballapura. Nandi hills being one of the famous tourist places around Chikkabalapura. I have give a link below which you can follow to check about these locations.

Or you can also go further towards Anantpur and visit Leepakshi. So if you see there are a lot of things to do around this place.
