You need to climb around 300 steps to reach the temple. Climb is not steep though. Just before the place from where you start climbing, there is a parking lot. But during weekends due to rush parking can be a challenge so plan accordingly. You need to pay a nominal parking fee.
Anthargange, apart from temple is famous for volcanic rock formations and natural caves and hence is it a very well known trekking destination.
Just behind the temple, there is a way gooing to the top of the hill and this trekking can be challenging for kids and older people.
When to visit Anthargange ?
If you are going to visit just the temple, then anytime of the year is fine. But if you also want to trek to the top then summer can be a big challange. Also plan trekking early in the morning. But this hill is quite popular among trekkers.
