Shri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple, also known as Yadagirigutta temple, is a prominent temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu's incarnation, Shri Narasimha Swamy ( Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple ).
Yadagirigutta is a census town in Nalgonda district in the Indian state of Telangana
Yadarishi, son of the renowned sage Rishyasrunga and Santa Devi, lived in Tretayugam and practised penance inside a cave with the blessings of Anjaneya (Hanuman) on this hill between Bhongir (Bhuvanagiri) and Raigiri.
Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, appeared before him in five different forms as Jwala, Yogananda, Gandabherunda, Ugra, and Lakshmi Narasimha, pleased with his sincere devotion. They later materialised as magnificently sculpted forms known as Pancha Narasimha Kshetram, and were worshipped as such.
Puranas and traditional stories of this Shrine are well-known among believers. The origin of this temple is mentioned in the Skanda Purana, one of the famous 18 puranas.
The golden Sudarshana Chakra (about 3 ft x 3 ft) of Lord Vishnu shines brightly atop the sikharam of garbha griha (sanctum sanctorum) of this cave shrine (whose reincarnation is Lord Narasimha).
The temple, as well as the weapon, may be seen from a distance of up to 6 kilometres. It is stated that many years ago, the chakra moved in the direction of the worshippers, directing them to the temple like a compass.
Sages are thought to have worshipped Lord Narasimha (rishis). The Yadagirigutta location is said to be a "Rishi Aradhana Kshetram," or sanctuary of sage worship.
According to legend, Lord Narasimha has assumed the position of "doctor" and is referred to as "Vaidya Narasimha" by his followers at this shrine, curing numerous chronic diseases and acting as a "provider of good things" to those who are afflicted by bad planets, witchcraft, and black magic.
Instabnces of the Lord appearing in devotees' dreams, administering medications, operating on patients, and rewarding them with good health are mentioned.
Many devotees have extraordinary dreams in which the Lord appeared to them and healed them of chronic or deadly illnesses, as well as mental and emotional issues.
Many devotees do a mandala (40-day) pradakshina in order to be cured of chronic ailments or diseases. According to mythology, the Lord often bestows mantropadesham on a chosen few believers in their dreams.
Shriman Narayana, pleased with Yada's penance, dispatched Shri Anjaneya to guide the rishi to a holy location, where the Lord came to him in the shape of Shri Lakshmi Narasimha, according to another legend.

This location is commemorated by a temple at the foot of the Yadagiri mountain, some 5 kilometres from the current temple. For many years, the sage worshipped the Lord there.
Hearing of the Lord's presence after Yadarishi gained moksha, a lot of tribals gathered to worship him at this temple.
Due to their lack of knowledge, these devotees began to engage in improper devotion, and Shri LakshmiNarasimha relocated to the hills.
The tribals looked for their Lord for many years. After many years, the Lord appeared to a devoted lady in the tribe in her dream, directing her to a big cave where he revealed himself to all in five majestic forms. As a result, the temple is known as "Pancha Narasimha kshetram" (Pancha - Five)
The Pancharatra Agamam is used to perform the poojas in this temple. Late Shri Vangeepuram Narasimhacharyulu, who composed Yadagiri Suprabhatam, Prapatti, Stotram, Mangalashasanam and served as Sthanacharya of this temple, established the pooja vidhanam (pooja method).

A vast, open Mukhamandapam hall, Granite Grabhalayam, Vimana Gopuram, and Maharaja Gopuram can all be found in the temple.
For 40 days, a large number of visitors perform Mandala Pradakshinas and Mandala Abhishekam at the shrine.

This temple's main attraction is Swayambhu Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy. On the left side of the same Swayambhu Anjaneya Swamy rock, devotees can find Lord Vinayaka.
The main deity at this shrine, Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy, is a "Swayambhu," or uncreated. To the left of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy's idol on the same sizable rock in the garbha gudi is Sri Vinayaka Swamy's Swayambhu.
This is the first instance of its kind where devotees can worship Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy and Sri Ganesha on the same rock.
Surya, Chandra, Angaraka, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Kethu are among the other navagrahas that may be found on the temple grounds. When the tithi Trayodashi falls on Saturday, Shani Trayodashi is observed in the temple.
Many followers of Lord Shani pray to him on this auspicious day in order to be freed from all Shani-doshas.
As Sri Anjaneya Swamy came to be recognised as one of Lord Shiva's personifications, the Shiva Panchayathanam, also known as the Shiva Lingam, which includes Goddess Parvathi, Vinayaka, Vishnu, and Surya, was sanctified on the temple grounds.
Every day, a large number of worshipers visit this Shiva Panchayatanam.
In the Shrine, there is also a figure known as Nagaraja, who is thought to represent Subramanya Swamy in the form of a serpent.
Within the grounds of the temple, beneath Raavi Chettu, there had once been a sizable anthill where snakes had once lived.
The majority of the devotees worship Nagendra, who is carved out of black granite stone and put in the same location on the temple grounds.
Sri Anjaneya Swamy's conveyance (vahanam) is the ushtra, or camel. According to Sri Anjaneya Mangalashasanam and the history of Sri Anjaneya, a camel vahanam made of block granite stone and covered in silver plate may be seen in front of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy inside the temple grounds.

The temple is located on the banks of Musi River in Jiyaguda. This 300 year old temple, is said to be constructed by Samartha Ramdas Swami, the Guru of Chhatrapati Shivaji.

The intriguing Kondagattu temple is located in the Karimnagar district. It is one of Telangana's most well-known temples.
The town of Kondagattu is endowed by nature and is incredibly gorgeous, being situated in the midst of lovely hills, breathtaking valleys, and pleasant water springs. Locals claim that a cowherd built the temple three hundred years ago.
Sri Anjaneya Swamy is the temple's presiding deity. The temple is located on a hilltop in Mallial mandal's Kondagattu village.
Sri Anjaneya Swamy's holy shrine can be found 35 kilometres from Karimnagar town.
The temple offers a breathtaking view surrounded by caves and Rayuni fort on its north. The caves and the fort also offer a pleasant holiday spot.
The story of the temple, according to locals dates back to about 300 years ago, when a cowherd, Singam sanjeevudu after losing one of his buffalo, came to this hilly area while searching for it. He soon fell into deep sleep after a tiresome search. It is believed that Lord Anjaneya Swamy appeared in his dream and told him the whereabouts of the lost buffalo, and when Sanjeeva woke up to start searching in the instructed direction, he found an enlightening idol of Anjaneya Swamy. He then built a small temple for Lord Anjaneya.
On its northern side, the temple is encircled by caves and the Rayuni fort. The caves and fort are also excellent vacation spots.
According to residents, the temple is around 300 years old.
As per local legend a cowherd named Singam sanjeevudu lost one of his buffalo and travelled to this steep terrain in quest of it. After a long and exhausting quest, he quickly fell asleep.
Sanjeeva awoke to see an enlightened idol of Lord Anjaneya Swamy after Lord Anjaneya Swamy appeared to him in his dream and revealed him the whereabouts of the missing buffalo.
After that, he constructed a tiny temple for Lord Anjaneya.
It is widely believed that by offering 40 days of prayers to Anjaneya Swamy here, persons who do not have children will be blessed with one.
Bojjapotana caves and Kondalaraya fort surround the temple. Devotees can bathe at the Dharmagundam (holy water tank).
During Hanuman Jayanthi, the historic Kondagattu Hanuman temple is often packed to the brim with Hanuman worshipers.
The sight of worshippers dressed in saffron during Hanuman Jayanthi at Kondagattu is a sight to behold.
