Ma Chandi Devi Temple Haridwar in Haridwar is one of the Shakti Peethas of northern India, located at the peak of Neel Parvat on the eastern part of Himalaya’s Sivalik Hills.
This wonderfull temple is dedicated to Mata Chandi Devi and is only 3 kilometres from Chandighat.
This heavenly location is thought to be the resting place of Goddess Chandi, and it has a high religious significance.
According to legend, after killing the demons Shumbh and Nishumbha, Chandi Devi rested on Neel Parvat for a while.
The ruling ruler of Kashmir, Suchat Singh, constructed the temple in 1929.
It is thought that the idol of Chandi Devi was installed here in the 8th century by Shri Adi Shankaracharya, one of the finest Hindu priests.

To reach the temple, devotees can hike up to the top of the hill. The trekking path is beautiful, and as an adventurer, you must go on it.
