Today we are going to write about Sri Shridi Saibaba temple Avalahalli located at north Bangalore on Yelahanka Doddabalapur road.

We visited the Sri Sai baba temple in Yelahanka last week, located at Avalahalli on Yelahanka Doddabalapur road. It’s a beautiful temple located on the main road with a beautiful marble statue of Sri Sai Baba.
The temple is Avalahalli is around 20 Kms from Bangalore city center and 4 Kms from Yelahanka New Town (NES bus stop). The landmark for this area is BMSIT Engineering college.
The temple premises itself has two presiding deity i.e Sri Sai Baba and Sri Anjaneya Swamy (Lord Hanuman).
Then there are also the statue of Sri Dattatreya, Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanya Swamy and Navagraha.
The Marble statue of Sai Baba is very beautiful sitting on a nice platform (Simhasan). Sai Baba’s Samadhi & Paduka are placed in front of Sai Baba Statue.
On the left hand side before the entrance is a fire place. Devotees can take Dhuni from there.
There is a Meditation Hall in the basement of the Sai Temple.
Special Abhishekam, Alankaram, Aarthi & Puja are performed Daily to Sai Baba. The temple was inaugurated on 25th October 2007.

The Saibaba temple Avalahalli was inaugurated on 25th October 2007
So you will find this beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba which is present in the temple.
Then there are also black stone Idols of Lord Ganesha, Lor Anjaneya, Subramanya, Navagraha and Naga Devatha’s.
Marble Idol of Dattatreya is also present in the temple. Marble Idol of Nandi is present opposite to Shirdi Saibaba Idol as in Shirdi.
Sacred Dhuni and Nanda Deep you find on the left hand side in the temple premises.
You will find dhyana Mandir which is present in the basement of the temple where a beautiful marble idol of Shirdi Saibaba is also present.

- Shaswatha Pooja is performed to Saibaba – Rs.2001/-.
- Sankashta Chaturthi is performed in the temple every month at 5:30 PM – Rs.51/-.
- Satyanarayana Pooja is performed in the temple on every full moon day at 9:30 AM – Rs.51/-.

- Vijayadashmi (Saibaba Samadhi Day).

How to reach Saibaba temple Avalahalli
There is a frequent bus service to & from Bangalore city to the temple (Bus no 285M). Or you can reach NES bus stop and there are many buses from NES bus stop to this temple.
If you are coming by your own vehicle, you need to reach NES bus stop in Yelahanka new town first and from there you have to take Yelahanka Doddabalapur road.
Keep going straight for about 5 to 6 Kms and you will find the temple on your left hand side.
Keep looking for BMSIT Engineering college. The temple is just next to the college.
