JK Temple – One of the most famous kanpur temples

Also known as Sri Radha Krishna Temple. This is one of the famous temples of Kanpur. The temple is built by the JK Trust. The temple is a very good example of model temple architecture. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, also has statues of Lakshminarayana, Shri Ardhanarishwara, Narmadeshwar and Sri Hanuman.

Jain Glass Temple – famous jain temple in kanpur

It is known by the name Jain Glass Temple because this temple is made entirely of glass. This jain temple is said to be one of the ancient and magnificent temples of Kanpur. This temple made of beautiful carvings. The temple has amazing decoration of glass.

The Jain Glass Temple was built by the Jain community in memory of the 24 Tirthankaras of their religion. The temple also has idols of Lord Mahavira and Tirthankaras.

These sculptures stand on a marble platform under a huge umbrella. The walls have glass murals and depict the teachings contained in Jain texts.
