Rajarajeshwari & Hanuman Temple – Attibele – Bangalore

I have seen “Rajarajeshwari & Hanuman temple – Attibele – Bangalore”, every time I have crossed Attibele and always wanted to visit it.

I was fortunate enough to visit this temple this weekend.

Attibele is suburb of Bangalore. Located on Bangalore Hosur highway, this place has got superb connectivity from Bangalore and connects Bangalore to Anekal and further to place like Thally in Tamil Nadu.

Anekal, itself is home to many important temples, which I will write more about latter.

The temple I am going to show today is a newly renovated temple. Painted in full golden color this temples looks so impressive that you are not going to miss it if you are crossing Attibele town.

This temple complex is actually a big one and features Lord Hanuman temple, Devi temple and Sri Shani temple.

At the left hand side of the temple premises there is a huge gopuram with a huge Hanuman Statue. All painted in golden color, looks majestic.

The first temple behind this huge gopuram is dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

The next temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and her various manifestations.

And the last temple in the premises is dedicated to Lord Shani. Since it was Saturday when we went, we would see a lot of people visiting Shani Maharaj temple.

As I mentioned before the temple premises is quite big. There is a good parking place inside the premises. On some special occassions I ahve seen a good riush there, but in that case there are good options to park your vehicle outside.

Over all it is a very calm and quite place, though its on the main road. If you are living in Bangalore, this can be a good half a day trip for you.

I understand that the temple itslef is quite old, but has been renoavted recenlty and hence looks new.

Do visit when you find time and take blessings from all three gods!

Have a blessed darshan!
