Kheteshwar mandir | kheteshwar Dham – Bhramdham Asotra

This beautiful temple was established by Sant Kheteshwara Ji. I am talking about Shri kheteshwar mandir also called as kheteshwar Dham ( kheteshwar temple ).

Who was Sant Kheteshwara Ji of kheteshwar Dham

Sant Kheteshwara Ji was a noted and a pouplar saint of Rajasthan and is also known as radhya Shiromani Sant Shree 1008 Khetaramji maharaj.

He was born on 22 April 1912 at Khed village in the state of Rajasthan.

He was devotee of Lord Bhramha. His ishta-devata was Lord Brahma

Nonviolence, chastity, high moral ideals, and natural resource protection were among his teachings.

He re-emphasized the value of spiritual means for achieving self-realization, placing humanity above all other man-made obstacles such as casteism.

He gave the Rajpurohit community strength by inspiring them to work towards a better community and society.

Bramhaji Temple at Asotra – kheteshwar temple ( kheteshwar mandir )

The world’s second Brahma Temple, founded by late Brahmarshi Sant Khetaram ji Maharaj, is located in Asotra ( also called as kheteshwar Dham )

The first one being in Pushkar,

Asotra is a village in Rajasthan’s Barmer district, close to the city of Balotra, which is 10 kilometers away.

Thousands of tourists and devotees visit this temple each year, making it a major tourist attraction in the area.

The Pran-Prathishta ceremony is held every year on the 5th day of the bright half of Vaisakh month (May).

The death anniversary of Sant Kheteshwar ji Maharaj (the temple’s founder) is observed the next day.

Mahashivratri and Guru Poornima are two other major festivals celebrated here.

On 7 May 1984, a day after he inaugurated a temple in Asotra, Rajasthan near the temple, Sant Kheteshwara Ji took Samadhu in the name of Lord Brahma.

It is said that after a few months, the white Female Horse that rode, also took samadhi near him.

Kheteshwar temple construction

The temple is made up of Jodhpur Stone (Chhitar Stone).  While the main entrance hall is made up of yellow stone, also called as golden stone of Jaisalmer.

Marble is used to build Shri Brahma ji’s idol. The carving job, on the other hand, is one-of-a-kind. The temple’s foundation was laid on April 20, 1961, but the deity was not enthroned until May 6, 1984.

The idol is a one-of-a-kind sculptural masterpiece. Various vedic sages’ idols can be found.

Maharishi Uddalak, Maharishi Vashishta, Maharishi Kashyap, Maharishi Gautam, Maharishi Pippalada, Maharishi Parashara, and Maharishi Bhardwaj are Maharishi Uddalak, Vashishta, Kashyap, Gautam, Pippalada, Parashara, and Bhardwaj.

These sages are the ancestors of the Rajpurohit brahmins. The Rajpurohit community was primarily responsible for the construction of the temple.

Asotra is a village located in Barmer district of Rajasthan, near the city of Balotra which is at a distance of 10 km. Balotra Junction Railway Station is nearest railway station. Station code is BLT.
